Terri Knight

Terri is a very good friend of mine that I met at work 4 plus years ago. She is the most selfless and kind person I know. She is going through a very tough time medically right now. She hasn’t been able to work since mid December. She has had four surgeries, including a cancerous tumor removed from her stomach. She had to have a feeding tube for over a month. Just recently, she had cardiac surgery to repair her mitral valve and had a cardiac ablation. She experienced complications and had to go back into emergency surgery for a bleed. This was life threatening. Thank god, she is home now but the road ahead of her is long. She had FMLA but it ran out over a month ago. She is the sole provider for her 90 plus year old mother and her sister. She typically takes care of her mom. She has no income right now for rent, utilities, and of course all the medical bills. She is considering going back to work soon so she doesn’t lose her home and her mom doesn’t suffer. This would be against doctor’s orders and would put her at risk. She is very stressed out about everything, which is making her heart issues worse. But this is Terri, selfless, always thinking about others. It took lots of convincing to even allow me to try to help her. Please consider helping her! It would mean the world to her. Thank you so very much!!!!
