Terri Lee DeLile

Hi, my name is Jonah-kai and I am one of Terris 3 sons (Taylor, Ian, Jonah-kai).

For those that do not know, Terri DeLile passed away November 10, 2022 at 4:45PM. This concludes a 13-day battle for my mother, which she spent most of it in the ICU at Overlake. Shout out to all the doctors, nurses, and staff who were AMAZING during this time. We need to make healthcare free for all and support these amazing people.

She was admitted on Oct 28th due to weakness from a blood clot blocking blood to her liver, which turned into sepsis, which turned into pneumonia. She was intubated and put into a medically induced coma on Oct 31 Halloween morning because the pneumonia was just too much for her lungs. They wanted her to rest so that her body could fight the other sicknesses she had. I wore my green dinosaur suit to try and cheer her up, but we missed her by 15 minutes.

We removed the tube on Saturday, Nov 6th to stabilize her, however, it was just too much. We had one day with her where she was semi-lucid, but the encephalopathy from the intubation and drugs was just too much. The “brain fog” clouded her judgment and she could never recover from all of the issues going on.

She was a fighter. She was a caregiver. She was my everything. Right now, she is in heaven with my grandma Ann Horner drinking Irish coffee and smoking cigarettes because they can.

RIP, Sweet mama, I will think about you every single day and look to the heavens to see your beautiful face.

We will be hosting her memorial at Jay Berrys Cafe in Renton, Wa. This was one of her favorite places to watch Seahawks games, eat dinner, and fraternize with her friends. Seema (the owner) was very fond of my mother and has offered up her restaurant for Terri DeLiles celebration of life. The cost will be 750$, so we are trying to raise the money so we can have food for everyone covered.

Anything in excess will go to Mike DeLile, my step-father who has been broken to the core with the loss of my mother.
