Terri Raines Family Medical Fund

Dear family and friends of the Raines family,
As most of you are aware, Terri has been diagnosed with Stage 3C high-grade serous ovarian cancer. It was discovered after completing laparoscopic surgery to remove a large cyst, which required removing her left ovary in the end. She recently completed an in-depth surgery to remove the primary cancer, secondary tumors, and additional evidence of the cancer discovered in other organs. This was an intensive surgery that will require her to stay in the hospital for about a week. After 4 to 5 weeks of recovery at home, she will begin chemotherapy. Her doctor estimates a duration of 1 year from the beginning of treatment to the end.
Due to the expense of procedures and extended timeframe for treatment, there will be a significant cost for the family, even after insurance. Additionally, with the current COVID-19 situation, Terri is unsure how visitors and work will fit into her new reality. Sadly, working at the salon may not be a possibility for her. This fundraiser is to help offset the cost of her medical expenses and the loss in income she will sustain over the year of treatment.
Like me, most of you have been blessed by Terri's constant generosity and wonderful spirit. Her eager smile and contagious laughter make you grateful to know her. Also like me, I know you are searching for some way to help. Therefore, if you would like to assist the Raines family, any donation is greatly appreciated, and all funds raised go directly to them. On behalf of Terri, Eric, and the boys, thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
