- Hello, Most of you are aware that Terri is a courageous breast cancer survivor! During her brave fight against this insidious disease, she underwent damaging radiation treatments after a complete double mastectomy. She endured several breast reconstruction surgeries that have left her chest severely scarred and discolored. In addition to the burning of her skin, the radiation treatments have also caused significant and permanent damage to her lung and lung function. Terri now relies on the limited income from social security disability and cannot return to work. Although she is grateful to be alive and in remission the noticeable scars and discolored skin make her self-conscious and Terri would love to have them treated. This requires two more harrowing surgeries. Unfortunately, insurance does not pay 100% of the procedures and it will require additional out-of-pocket expenses she does not have. If you can find it in your heart and wallet to help her reach her goal, help celebrate her triumph over this disease and feel whole again she would be so very grateful.
