Terry and Irma need your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. With all the medical treatments and hospital visits the bills are piling up. They both have worked at Costco for many years. Since Terry's diagnosis he has not been able to work.
Below is a letter from them,
Last week of May, Terry was having issues with his vision and getting dizzy . Terry went in to the doctor, initially they could not find anything wrong. The doctor then ordered X-ray for Terry and he went in the next day And that is when they found the lesions on his lung. The doctor wanted Terry to do a catscan, the next day he went into the doctor and that is when their lives changed forever.
Terry was told he had 7 spots on his liver and it was cancer. Biopsy and catscan tests were ordered on his head, abdomen and pelvis region. Terry and Irma met with Dr. Jafari, an oncologist, where more tests were ordered. A biopsy and colonoscopy were needed urgently. They then met with Dr. Dean and the news got worse. Terry was told he had colon cancer and it was stage 4. As Terry was getting ready for his colonoscopy he started to have severe stomach pains and ended up in the ER. After a catscan it was revealed that his colon was closed causing the horrible pain. The next morning they met again with Dr. Dean and they were told he needed to have emergency surgery. After the surgery Dr. Dean spoke with both Terry and Irma about his prognosis. The doctor was honest and straightforward. Terry was told if the chemo didn't work he would have 6 months to 1 year to live.
Terry and Irma continue to fight this battle together, but they are needing help. If you are not able to donate, please just keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
