Terry Barnhill

I recently lost a good friend of mine, Terry Barnhill. I have known her since 1998. She has always been a dedicated, hard working, caring, loving, helpful like give you her last dollar while she goes hungry just to make sure you ate. She lost everything in our last big hurricane and it took everything she had to rebuild. Then with her sudden passing it has left her kids not only hurting emotionally but also financially. So many from her home church have helped out and many from her old job have also helped but the kids still need assistance with Terry’s home, her animals, bills, credit, and debt. We are reaching out and asking to please help in their time of need. Here’s a few words from her daughter about her wonderful mother:

There’s so many things I can say about my mom, Terry. But words will never be able to describe how much she meant to both my brother and I. She was always the person we could go to when we had a problem, and she would help us find a solution. She worked so hard to give us the life that we deserved. She made sure we were able to support us in every dream we ever had. She showed us how much love we could give with the pets we had growing up. She shared her passion of horses with us. To much of our displeasure, she expressed her stubbornness and determination when projects around the house and barns needed to be done and recruited our help to do it. In the midst of trying to plan everything, I took some time to go through some of my mom’s things to try to make sense of it all. In a drawer full of oddities and past memories, I found a folded piece of paper. On it was a child’s handwriting. It had been mine, and I was telling the tooth fairy that I only wanted cents for my tooth because my mom told me she had only gotten cents when she was a kid, and I wanted to be just like my mom. I could never compare to the strength she had. She was the most dedicated, generous and kind woman you would have ever met. I will forever be saddened that she left this world. But she has left her mark on all of us here and I think that’s what’s the most important thing for us all to remember.

All funds will go directly to her children. Thank you for reading and helping!
