Help Terry Bishop Recover From Burn Injuries

Hello! My name is Melinda Burnett, and for those who don't know me, I've known Terry Bishop from a young age as a close friend to both her sons, Christian and Nick Bishop. I'm putting this together on their behalf to take one thing off their plate while they're caring for Terry.

On Monday, 9/26, Terry endured 1st and 2nd-degree burns to her feet and legs while attempting to light a burn pile in preparation for Hurricane Ian. She is resting and healing at her son's home in Orlando while he helps treat her wounds and takes her to and from appointments at the burn center in Orlando.

It is unclear what Terry's time to heal or future prognosis is. Terry has incurred medical bills already, will continue to accrue medical bills, and is unable to work for the foreseeable future. As she does not have medical insurance and it's unclear when she'll return to work we're hoping to raise some funds to help her down the unpredictable path ahead of her and her family.

Once more information is available, I will continue to update this page, and I'm sure Terry will share more once she can. Knowing Terry, she'll fight through this with an incomparable force and find a way to make us all laugh at the situation. However, she and her family will surely appreciate any help we can provide!
