Hi everyone I’m Terry’s son Matthew my mother went in for a colonoscopy in 2017 to mount Carmel east hospital they perforated her intestines in 3 places after a 10 hour emergency surgery my mother started her recovery I moved in to help her I started to notice she was acting different so over the next year we found out she had dementia then in 2019 Covid hit she stopped going to work and began working from home and she continued to continually get worse licking memorial wanted me to put her in a nursing home but I refused I guess that I was hoping my mom would come out of it so I drained my savings to keep things going at her house then Monday December 12th mom had an appointment at 3 in Heath and I got home around 5 I found her face down on the couch at first I didn’t register what was going on then I sat her up cleared her airway called 911 and started cpr till the medics arrived about 10 mins later they continued to work on her on the living room floor for 30 mins but she never came back I hate asking for help I’m an only child and this is by far the hardest thing I’ve had to endure my mom was my rock and always had my back so the last thing I can do is give her a memorial I don’t quite know how I will make it without her
