The Charlee Doom - Terry Doe Family Medical Needs

Our USAID and international affairs family has reached out via several avenues to encourage us to consider a GoFundMe campaign. We are hesitant and humbled. We know so many of us are hurting, struggling, and marred by uncertainty, and I hope that we can continue to advocate fiercely for all of us.

With the Temporary Restraining Order lifted, we remain under extraordinary uncertainty and have no guidance on if or when medical waivers for staying at post (and housed) will be considered. Mommy Doe and Baby "Dauntless" Doe are both stable right now and trying really hard to comply with bed rest. We have a long road ahead over the next several weeks, and we are taking it inch by inch and day by day.

Any funds provided would be used for medical expenses, including a possible air ambulance for Dauntless if one becomes necessary, costs associated with remaining at post or resettlement in the US, and legal fees tied to our situation. We sincerely appreciate any consideration from our community. We cannot thank you enough for all of the warmth that has been poured into our little family.
