Late Wednesday night, January 17, 2024, the Poelstra Family lost its beloved patriarch to a sudden, massive heart attack while he was at work on the North Slope in Proudhoe Bay, AK. All who had the privilege of knowing him are shocked and deeply grieved by this abrupt and tragic loss. At this time, we are requesting financial donations, of any amount, to assist us with the cost of Terry’s final arrangements and residual expenses. All donations will go directly to Terry’s wife, Myla Poelstra, to ease the fiscal stress of this major family transition. Our PapaBear loved his family with his whole heart, and if you knew him, you know what a big heart beat in his chest!
