Hi friends and family Clif here,
As you may or may not have known. My mom Terry is undergoing treatment for her cancer. This all started with a cough that worsened, then some memory loss. What we found out was the worst thing imaginable. They found a mass on her lungs and lesions on her brain.
The amazing doctors were able to treat three lesions with radiation the other was removed with brain surgery. The mass on lung has been being treated with 10 rounds of radiation.
She has been battling everyday with high spirits. I’m so proud of her hell we all are.
This is all far from over as we still have a long fight a head and bills are piling up. The next steps are immunotherapy and more scans to see if all the treatments take so this is where you guys come in.
Whatever you may known my mom by Terry, TFran, a friend, a co worker, or the newly appointed G-Ma T. We need your help this time to keep fighting. Anything sent is going toward these bills. Unfortunately I wish I’m this climate all my thoughts would pay for these types of things. Alas with the great medical insurance of the USA they only covered half of a $90,000 brain surgery to keep my mom going. Among other bills and a PET scan now needed where they won’t take it unless $3,600 upfront is needed.
All I and we ask is to give what you can. No amount is too small. I never felt so low as I do now but sometimes you have to swallow pride and ask your friends for help.
We need to make sure my mom and Don can take more selfies together for a while.
