Terry the Kitten who is in pain

Hi , My name is Tony and I'm trying to raise funds for my Terry, a 7 month old kitten I adopted from rescue last month.

Unfortunately he has just been diagnosed with Hyperplastic Feline Juvenile Gingivitis, this has erupted as his adult teeth have started to come through. He needs to get this treated before the condition gets worse and causes him anymore pain and discomfort.

Although I have pet insurance and he belongs to a pet health club where he was first diagnosed, his insurance won't cover him as it is considered an existing condition.

He is on pain killers at the moment but needs urgent treatment from the dentists at the vets and I've been told this will cost £1000+ and possibly more depending on how he reacts to the treatment.

Since I've been with Terry we've become best pals and are together 24/7 .Even though he drives me mad at times I couldn't bear to be without him now and I hate thinking he's in pain and suffering.

Being disabled and living on a small disability pension it's going to be very difficult for me to be able to afford his ongoing treatment so if anyone would help me and Terry we would be eternally grateful.

UPDATE - Thank you so much for everyone's kindness and generosity. Terry and me are overwhelmed that people could be so kind and now we just have to get Terry well.

UPDATE - Terry had his first treatment on Monday and hopefully all went well. He has to go back Monday for a check up and then we'll know more about the future from there.
