Hi! My Name is Janice Winchester.
I am the spouse of Terry Winchester. We have been married for 38 years. Now, Terry is battling stage 4 lung cancer since Oct.2020 and has been going through chemo therapy since Dec.7,2020. Since he has started his chemo, he had side effects from his treatment which has left him basically homebound. He was working as a crossing guard for the school system. Now, he is unable to drive at this time due to numbness in his feet and having dizzy spells which prevents him from working. At present he is stricken with pneumonia and had to stop much needed treatments. Medical Bills are coming in and the finances have been devistating to our family. We are both on Social Security Disability, so our income is limited. Our savings and checking have been depleted. We are unable to keep up with normal household expenses, let alone treatments and prescriptions. Medical Bills are in the 6 figures and that is through Nov.2020, with much more to come. However, health insurance has paid a great amount which is leaving us with a balance of several thousands as of now. I have been asking for help, but we make too much according their tables that they use. So now I come to anyone and everyone, to please help us. I know times are hard right now for everyone but anything would really help. And if you can't help, then pray. Cancer is a beast that can hit you from any angle and blind side you and your family. My adult kids help as much as they can around their work schedules. Please share this so we can kick cancer.
