Teshie Praso (Ghana) urgently needs a clinic!
Donation protected
Hello, My name is Nana Adom, and I turned 40 earlier this year. I am incredibly grateful for reaching my 40th year, and I am thankful to God for allowing me to see another year.
Since 2020, it has been in my heart to give back to a community in desperate need of medical care. For my 40th birthday, I decided not to accept gifts but to ask for an exchange of donations to help me raise funds to build a medical clinic in a small remote village in Ghana.
However, it was clear during covid that the world was in desperate need of medical assistance, but parts of the world couldn't afford basic supplies like masks, hand sanitisers, PPE, and more.
I visited a remote peaceful village community Teshie Praso in Ghana's Ashanti region, which desperately needs a clinic. There are about 600 residents, nearly 200 of whom are children.
To get to the nearest hospital, any community member would have to travel approximately 40 miles, including crossing potentially dangerous rivers.
A large percentage of village residents are poor farmers who rely on the fruits of their labour. Their jobs are physically demanding. They barely make a dollar a day to get by.
Therefore, I need your help to raise £10,000 so that I can build a medical facility fit to function as a clinic for the good people of Teshie Praso. No human being deserves to live in this manner in 2023.
Healthcare should not be considered a luxury. It is a requirement. They are not requesting internet access, mobile phones, or even good roads and street lights. They aren't interested in posh restaurants or designer clothes. They simply want to be happy. To remain alive.
Please support this initiative by donating or simply forwarding the link to your friends. Please keep in mind that I have already assembled a team of six people, including the village chief, to carry out this vision. I pledge to match every penny raised for this project through this fundraising (up to £15K).
The proposed plan to build the clinic in Teshie Praso.
My name is Nana Adom. I welcome any questions you may have. Thank you in anticipation.
