My name is Steve Sherman and I am starting a fundraising campaign for my granddaughter Tessa Porch. Tessa is an aspiring basketball player having just completed her Freshman season at Middletown high school in Connecticut. She earned All-Conference honors including the All-Academic team. Her AAU summer coach is a former University of Connecticut collegiate champion, WNBA champion and Gold Medal winner in 2000. Coach Kara has invited Tessa to play in a tournament in Italy this summer with Kara's AAU team. There are significant costs in traveling abroad for this life-building challenge.
- Your donation will go directly to funding the expenses of airfare, travel and hotel arrangements, tournament fees and a full-time interpreter during the team's 9-day stay in Italy.
