Tessa's fundraiser for the World Championships

After an exciting competitive qualifying season, I am honoured to have the opportunity to represent Canada at both the World Skate Downhill Championship (held in Tagaytay, Philippines Feb 2024), and the World Skate Games (held in Rome, Italy Sept 2024).

My dream is to stand on the podium at both of these events. I will be training as hard as I can to make this dream a reality and bring home a medal for Canada.

Although this is an extremely exciting opportunity and experience, without financial support it will be very difficult to make it to these events. Below is a list of expenses for both events.

Flights: $4000 +/-

Accommodations: $2000

Registrations: $400

Gear/Safety: $1500

There are more expenses than listed above, however these are the main costs that will make it hard for me to participate without support.

All proceeds will go towards covering the minimum costs of the events. Any extra money raised that I do not need to directly fund my participation in these events, will be donated to the rest of my Canadian team.
