Teresita Alejandro Tabangcura was born on October 3, 1960 in Nagsuputan, San Juan, Ilocus Sur, Philippines to parents Jose & Sixta Alejandro.
She attended & gradated from
The University of Northern Philippines with a degree in Accounting.
In 1988 she married the love of her life, William R Tabangcura, & moved to the US & settled down on the island of Oahu in 1989. In 1992 Teresita & William welcomed their only child, Jake A Tabangcura, to the world.
Never forgetting her Filipino roots & love for agriculture, Teresita continued to grow & foster plants at home as a hobby to which she enjoyed. She also loved spending time with her family & playing Mahjong on Saturday nights.
On August 26, 2020 Teresita tested positive for COVID-19 & was later hospitalized on September 1, 2020. During her hospitalization she continued to fight with all the strength she had in her and with the help of ICU staff, her husband & son were able to FaceTime her every night so she could hear their voices.
On September 18, 2020 at 10:16 AM Teresita left this Earth & joined God, her parents, siblings & all other loved ones who’ve passed before us, in the Kingdom of Heaven. She leaves behind a beloved husband of 32 years, William R Tabangcura & a beloved son, Jake A Tabangcura.
Although her physical presence may no longer be on this Earth, her beautiful, loving, giving & caring soul continues to live on in the hearts & memories of those lives she’s touched during her time here.

We, the Tabangcura family, would like to thank each & everyone of you for your continuous prayers, love & support during this difficult time. We would also like to express our gratitude to the ICU staff at Kuakini Medical Center for taking care of Mom in our place.
