Testing and Surgery for Paola Lopez!

Hi all!

My name is Ayla and I am setting this fundraiser up for my mom Paola. For a couple of months now she has been having severe back and bladder pain. Finally, she went to the doctor and they did some tests. They found that she has a large 10 cm intrauterine Lieomyoma tumor plus additional fibroids with a very enlarged uterus. The doctors told her she would require an operation to remove the uterus and tumors. The cost of further testing, surgery and time off far exceed what her limited benefit insurance covers. My dad is deaf and currently works as a handyman but doesn't bring in enough to be the main source of income so they would be without my mom's income (the main source) for minimally 6 weeks. My mom is so tough and has been walking around with this tumor for far too long and is in a lot of pain, not to mention high blood pressure, so she is not sleeping well at all, which greatly impacts her and my dad's day-to-day life.
