Texas Academy of Acrobatics & Gymnastics (TAAG) provides recreational and competitive acrobatics and artistic gymnastics instruction to over 400 athletes in the Baytown, Texas area. This past week, Baytown broke a national record when Cedar Bayou was flooded with more than 52 inches of rain during Hurricane Harvey.
Hurricane Harvey affected our entire community. Many homes and businesses flooded that were not previously considered a flood risk. Sadly, our gym was one of them.
We're working diligently to clean-up and rebuild our gym so our athletes can get back to work. We have compulsory teams scheduled to compete next weekend. These kids have been training hard all year to prepare for their competition season and, as of right now, they do not have a gym to pratice in.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 in two weeks so we can get these repairs completed quickly and get our kids back on track.
Our staff and athletes appreciate any help you're able to give. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
