Texas A&M IHSA Equestrian Team

Howdy! My name is Eyleen Fuentes and I am the loudest and proudest member of the Texas Fightin’ Aggie Class of 2026!
After another successful year competing as a team in recognized Intercollegiate Horse Show Association competitions, we are seeking donations and sponsors to help us get back in the show ring this fall!
In 2006, the Aggie IHSA team was disbanded as the NCEA became more recognized. For 14 years, the focus of equestrian sport at Texas A&M was on the NCAA women's team. In 2020, a group of equestrians came together and reformed the Aggie IHSA team. Small by design, our team is carefully chosen by our head coach, Laurel Zauderer, and team captains. Our mission is to provide the opportunity for university students, regardless of riding level or financial status, to develop their horsemanship and riding skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
We do not receive funding from the university for travel, show entries, or team apparel. Our goal is to raise money and provide as much riding gear/clothing as possible to ensure accessibility for our members from all backgrounds. Your support makes it possible to send our riders to all regular season shows within our region, as well as Regionals, Zones, and Nationals during the postseason. Our team has high hopes for the 2023-2024 season, but we can't do it without you!
