Texas A&M FSAE Formula Electric Racing

Howdy!

We are the Texas A&M FSAE Electric Racing team! Each year, our team is tasked with designing, fabricating, and testing formula-style electric race cars to compete in the Formula SAE Electric competition!

This year, we will compete in Michigan against 74 other universities in June. We are working hard to hopefully win and need your support to deliver and compete with the AME 23 vehicle. Additionally, we have our sights set on competing internationally in Spain against 90 other teams from around the globe!

Our Story:

The Texas A&M FSAE Electric Racing program was founded in the Spring of 2021 after years of deliberation and discussion and is now one of the top engineering organizations at Texas A&M University. The program offers students with invaluable real-world experience that will catalyze their technical and professional development as engineers. Students here will learn to think critically and justify engineering design decisions, validate and present their ideas, and bring those ideas to reality by working as a team to build a competitive race car. Last year, we placed 15th in design out of 40 eligible teams, and this year, we aim to win in Michigan. Currently, we also have the privilege of laying the groundwork for future teams years down the line to make them more competitive. Texas A&M FSAE Electric Racing students have secured jobs at some of the world’s best engineering companies, and your support will help continue our legacy of excellence!

Breakdown:

In preparation for the upcoming competitions in Michigan and Spain, we are working to raise funds for various expenses required to compete at a high level. These costs include materials and parts, tires for testing, and other expenses related to competition logistics. As students, our financial resources are limited, and our program wouldn’t be possible without generous and committed sponsors and supporters. If you are interested in supporting us, we would greatly appreciate any contribution no matter the amount, as each dollar puts us one step closer to competing in Michigan and Spain.

All donations received through this fundraiser will be used solely for necessary competition-related expenditures.
