Tey’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Our dear friend Tey Evans has been one of Melbourne's most beloved event promoters and a pillar of his community for more than a decade. After his company Twisted Audio had started to bounce back from the challenges that was caused by the pandemic, Tey was living the dream and envisioning a bright future. Having just proposed to the love of his life, he was enjoying a much needed holiday in Bali, when in the blink of an eye a freak accident left him fighting for his life.
On Thursday the 25th of August, at around 7am, Tey was found injured on the side of the road and was rushed to hospital. When he arrived at the hospital, the intensivist could not find a pulse. Tey had multiple broken ribs, a punctured lung, a ruptured spleen, a fractured elbow, vertebra and pelvis as well as a damaged kidney - all of which were causing severe internal bleeding. The amazing staff at Nusa Dua Hospital prepared him for surgery even though there was a huge chance he was not going to make it.
What made the situation even more critical was that there was no O negative blood in Bali. Please watch the video for the full story on the blood campaign and how many of you out there saved Tey’s life. We would like to thank all the people involved because if it was not for the effort of all of you, Tey would not be breathing today.

Tey is currently still in Nusa Dua Hospital and after surviving what could have been a fatal accident, he has a long road to recovery ahead of him. We have started this Go Fund Me campaign to try and ease the huge financial burden that his medical and future rehabilitation expenses are going to cause him and his family.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the effort of the blood donors and to all that can contribute to this campaign. We would appreciate it if you could share this with your friends on social media.
