Linda needs our help following Hurricane Ian!

Dear Family & Friends,
As you know, Hurricane Ian brought much destruction and heartache to many people living in Florida. Our sister Linda is one of these people. Although her house did not experience any flooding or major interior damage, it did have significant exterior damage. The photo above shows the three giant trees that fell on her property. The estimated cost of having these trees removed is roughly $20,000.00. The price is exceptionally high due to the size and location of where they fell. One tree will need to be removed from her backyard with a crane. That tree crushed her pool cage and lanai and punctured her back roof. Additionally, much of her fencing was destroyed, and we expect the pool equipment and other items stored outside to be damaged beyond repair.
Sadly, her insurance policy does not cover damage caused by hurricane wind; therefore, the cleanup and repairs will require a significant out-of-pocket expense for Linda. It's not easy to ask for money, but in this instance, we felt compelled to try to help her by reaching out to friends and family for support.
Linda's experience with Hurricane Irma resulted in a delay of payment which took over one year and involved an attorney in recouping any money to cover the extensive damage she suffered back then. There is no comparison to the destruction this hurricane caused her. Hurricane Ian severely impacted thousands, and we fear this will result in significant delays (possibly years) for Linda to receive any assistance to help cover this loss. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated if you can pitch in any amount to help. All monies raised will be used exclusively for hurricane damage repairs.
With love and thanks,
