Hello everyone.
We are here again asking for support as it seems we are going to have another longer hospital stay.

Anthony was born on June 18, 2021 and spent 40 days at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center - most of which was in the pediatric intensive care unit. Anthony received a balloon valvuloplasty on his pulmonary valve in the cath lab and was able to go home without any surgical intervention. His diagnoses include:
Heterotaxy syndrome
Bradycardia with junctional rhythm history of SVT
intestinal malrotation
Polyspenia
Hx of necrotizing enterocolitis x1
interrupted IVC with azygous continuation

At nearly 9 months, Anthony woke up from a nap with blue lips. On arrival to the ER l, Anthony’s oxygen saturations were only in the 70s-80s (normal 95+). Anthony also tested positive for adenovirus. Anthony will need a second cath procedure to identify the source of his low oxygenation. It is thought Anthony will need open heart surgery to close his ASD, insert a new pulmonary valve, and place a pacemaker.

These extended hospital stays as well as frequent followups with multiple providers have impacted us financially. Please do not feel obligated to contribute; however, any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Donations will be used towards outstanding medical bills, medication copays, travel expenses such as gas, food, hospital parking, etc. Thank you.
