Joe Potocki & his family need your help

Joe Potocki from Lockport, IL., age 42 was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer in 2017. He underwent surgery where they removed the upper lobe on his right lung as well as 4 rounds of chemo. For a short time, the cancer had gone into remission. After months of recovering , Joe never felt 100% and the pain in his shoulder increases. After visiting the oncologist again & bone biopsies, it was confirmed that his cancer had returned. His medical condition has digressed. He is now diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer which metastasized  into his neck, spine, shoulder, and pelvic bones. He has gone through radiation and a variety of treatments.  Joe used to work as a truck driver to support his family, but due to his decreased condition he has not been able to return to work for quite some time. This has added to the stress for Joe not being able to provide for his wife of 15 years and 3 children(6y, 7y, & 14y old) in the household. Joe also has an older daughter attending college.  As we all can imagine, the bills keep stacking up with a condition like this and a large family to support. It is imperative that they receive some kind of financial assistance at this time. Cancer knows no discrimination and we all would fear this disease if we were given this diagnoses. Watching a family member  suffer is very difficult especially when you notice the things they can no longer do & how the cancer affects their body. I have lost five family members to cancer; 4 since 2014. Please take a minute of your time to read & share this story & make any type of donation you can! The donations collected will go towards medical bills, family bills, home costs and so many other areas one can not write them all down. Dealing with stage 4 cancer and worrying about paying bills can be devastating. The time to dig into our pockets & help this family is NOW. I do not know Joe or his family, but I will be one of the first to spread the word for help. We can always dream, hope and pray that Joe will get better. No one can take  away one's hope!
