Bless Kayla Jean

Kayla Jean Knox was diagnosed with Stage 3 HER2+ breast cancer in August, 2018. She received 6 months of chemotherapy then underwent a total mastectomy with lymph node extraction. Just before beginning comprehensive chest radiation to fight off any microscopic cells, it was discovered her cancer had metastasized to her brain and liver.
Kayla continues her courageous battle against what seeks to rob her children, 5 year old Phoenix and 4 year old Hendrix, of their mommy. She is a full-time patient of MDANDERSON Hospital in Houston, uprooting from our hometown in Odessa for this season of life. Kayla Jean is full of hope and full of determination to live out Philippians 4:8, focusing her thoughts on shining Jesus in every corner of her fight.
