Kelly's Emergency Fund

This request is for my daughter and I am relaying her story here for her.  Please read the following message she has written.  Any help that is given will be greatly appreciated.

Hi everybody. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kelly and I'm a single mom with a son, Jordan, and a daughter, Jalin. I am also the "Pumpkin Lady" of Annapolis. My first son, DJ, passed away when he was nine months old from bacterial meningitis. Every year I gather up my family and friends to carve pumpkins for each child buried in "Babyland" at Hillcrest Cemetery. Last year we carved 175 pumpkins. I've certainly struggled over the years, but I've always managed to provide for my children until lately. I am in desperate need of help. I have been unable to work at all since late January due to problems that I've been having with my health. I am under the care of several specialists and have had many tests and procedures in order to be properly diagnosed.  I have Fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, bulging discs, neuropathy and arthritis. In addition, I have a pinched nerve in my neck that causes numbness and tingling on the left side and a herniated disc in my back which is pinching my sciatic nerve leaving me with constant, daily pain and muscle weakness down both my legs. It is remarkable the amount of time it is taking to try to address all of these issues simultaneously. All non-evasive efforts to retract the herniated disc have failed so the only alternative is to surgically fix it. I will remain out of work for several months or longer while these issues are being addressed. My family is helping me as much as they possibly can but they are struggling to make it themselves. It's been very humbling to reach out to all of you this way. I would greatly appreciate any support in any form offered to help me through this very difficult time so I can help meet my everyday expenses.  I look forward to being back on my feet and part of everyday life again.
