Joey needs our help!

Hi! We are Sarah's cousins, Lisa and Sheila, and we are creating this fundraiser to help Joe and his family during this time of unexpected medical issues. A few weeks ago the kids were camping and Joe was experiencing some pain, we thought that he just pulled a muscle hiking. But after the kids got back home he was still experiencing some pain in his back. It got to the point where it was unbearable and he was taken to the hospital. After a couple days of not getting any answers, doctors decided to transfer him to Children's Hospital in Detroit. We found out Joseph has bacteria all throughout his blood and he has been on a high dose of antibiotics. We also found out Joseph has a severe bone infection. There is also a mass on his spine that is an infection. He will be getting a PICC line today, and they're letting him come home, where Sarah will administer his antibiotics and pain meds through the PICC line. He'll be on antibiotics every 6 hours. We are praying he heals fast because right now the infection has ate away some of his vertabre, and his disk between is bulged from all the inflammation. He has to wear a back brace for now. They said treatment would be at the very least 6 weeks. And then he would come back and have another MRI. He also has lesions throughout his lungs some of them are calcified and they said they seen a granule mass. As far as his lungs they don't think it's connected. They are waiting for test results to come back to decide if Drs are going to biopsy his lungs beause they said it's a risky procedure.
