Help Dulyapat Waldorf School Build its High School

Donation protected
Dear Friends,
My name is Natsinee Kittipeerapat, or Pansa, as my family and friends call me. I currently work as a resident doctor in Berlin, Germany. I am reaching out to ask for your support in helping Dulyapat Waldorf School in Thailand build its high school. The special thing about this campaign is that every donation made will be tripled—I’ll explain shortly how that’s possible.

A short Backstory
I moved from Thailand to Germany 11 years ago to study medicine. I’m an alumnus of the Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School and Thailand’s first Waldorf school, Panyotai Waldorf School in Bangkok. I loved school so much that I never really wanted to go home after school. Especially now, as a practicing doctor, I see clearly how crucial those childhood years were and how they shaped my life and adult experience. I was given a safe space to fearlessly explore, grow, and truly enjoy learning. I was safe, loved and appreciated for who I was. This foundation helped me navigate diverse challenges, thrive, and feel at home in different places around the world — and within myself.
This is the kind of school environment I wish for my children, especially in today’s complex world, where safety on school grounds is not always a given. All children deserve an environment where they are nurtured and empowered.

Dulyapat Waldorf School – A Short History
Since the founding of Panyotai Waldorf School in 1996, Waldorf education has grown in Thailand. As of April 2024, there are at least nine Waldorf kindergartens and schools (according to the Waldorf World List), with Dulyapat Waldorf School located in Khon Kaen in the eastern region of the country. The school was founded in 2012, starting with a generous donation of 8.5 acres of land by a founding teacher and parent. Today, it serves 120 students from early childhood through Grade 8. The school operates under the non-profit Dulyapat Foundation, relying on tuition fees and local fundraising for its maintenance.

After 12 years, the need for the school to expand has grown. While early education builds a strong foundation, the high school years are equally essential, equipping young adults with the knowledge and skills needed for the wider world and qualities that prepare them to navigate adulthood with confidence and purpose. To meet this need, Dulyapat Waldorf School is launching a project to build new classrooms and science labs.

The High School Project and How You Can Help
The project’s estimated cost is 4,5 million THB (around €126,000). The school has secured a generous commitment of €80,000 from the Friends of Waldorf Education Association but must raise €40,000 to unlock the funding. This is where your support is vital - your donation will enable the school to receive a total of €120,000 (this is how your donation gets tripled!).
Your contribution will make a significant impact on the school's future, the lives of the students, and the communities the school serves. Every amount, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.

Through GoFundMe, I commit to providing transparency and regular updates on the project’s progress. The school is also happy to provide detailed plans and financial reports.

Questions and suggestions are very welcome, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Thank you for considering this request!
