Help August Become a Real Boy

Hey there, gorgeous people!

Just so we're all on the same page, I'm going by the name August now. But most of you probably know me as Narn. For those of you who have been in my life for a while, I'm sure you'll know the huge difference transitioning has made to my life. The more recent people in my life will also know this, because I can't seem to shut up about how great HRT is and showing off my barely visible moustache hairs.

Well, I'm finally ready to take the next step in my journey by pursuing top surgery. I'm incredibly excited at the possibility of finally having a body that aligns with who I am (not to mention being able to go swimming without discomfort!!).

However, actually being able to achieve this life-saving surgery is a little bit harder then just making the decision that its something I need. To get this surgery in Brisbane with Dr Alys Saylor, the surgery will be $9, 000, with the anesthetist cost is $3, 200, and the gender dysphoria diagnosis is $850. All in all; I'm looking at $13, 050. Even working as much as I possibly can in the next 3 months, I will be struggling to get to this amount.

Becoming comfortable in my own skin is a journey, but I am so excited at the idea that after this surgery, I won't ever have to think about my discomfort ever again.
