Rosemary's Funds

Hi I am Jessica and I am here to help raise funds for my grandmother's care.. At about 2:30pm on November 8th, someone ran over my grandmother in a crosswalk by Glens Falls Hospital when she was visiting my sick grandfather. The person chose to leave the scene. She has a laceration on her head with stitches, a broken right ankle in a cast, a broken left foot, a broken left (her dominant side) elbow that requires a metal plate, and a broken hip that requires pins. She has MONTHS of recovery and rehab ahead of her. My grandparents are both retired and cannot afford the medical bills that are coming their way. All proceeds from the gofundme will go to them for medical and legal expenses.

***UPDATE***

Gram has a total of 10 broken bones, including her hip and everything I listed above. She will be going to a nursing facility shortly. On top of all of this, my grandfather that she was going to see the day she got hit, was sent home and passed away the day after Thanksgiving. So now she can't even bury her husband because of the acts of someone else. My grandmother is, by far, one of the most fiercest people I know. I have no idea how she is holding herself together physically or emotionally but here she is, still the matriarch. ❤

Gram is still in the nursing home. She thanks everyone for their help and support. She is navigating how to walk again. She nearly lost her arm and only has about 20% function of of her dominant arm. Gram appreciates the donations and, "didn't think there were that many nice people left in this world.". From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!
