Help Me and My Family Survive
Don protégé
Hi,
Meet my friend Fayez Al-Shamaly, a 20-year-old nursing student who has been forced to relocate to Rafah due to overwhelming violence and destruction. Before the violence from the occupation, his family of 9 lived in Khan Yunis, where he attended the Islamic University. Now, they are struggling with the daily challenges of surviving explosions, finding any food, and enduring the harsh cold.
Since becoming displaced and his home being destroyed, life has been extremely tough for all of them. Especially for the 3 youngest that are only children. Fayez and his family were forced to leave everything behind and finding basic necessities has been near impossible.
My goal is for him to escape Gaza with his parents and 7 siblings, to begin a new, peaceful life. I also want them to be able to find the basic necessities needed to survive their current situation. It has always been a dream of Fayez to pursue a profession that involves humanitarian work and helping others, which is why he loved nursing. His parents have strongly encouraged their children to pursue a life of education, and 3 of them have been fascinated by the medical field. Fayez hopes to be able to return one day, but above all, hopes for his family to live a safe, normal life.
I'm asking for any support you can give to help them survive and pay the fees to leave and to cover necessities, like food, while in Rafah. I will send the money to his aunt in Jordan who will transfer directly to him. Even the smallest contribution would mean a lot. If you can't donate, please share Fayez's story so more people might be able to help. Your support would make a huge difference, and we would be forever grateful.
