Thabisa's SA National Tour
My story begins in the dusty streets of Kwazakele, Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I loved music from an early age and, whether I was attending church or playing outside, I was always singing. Friends and family called me "Little Brenda" (for the great Brenda Fassie).
After completing my studies, I decided to pursue my music career full on. I started playing in jazz clubs and restaurants around the city and built a reputation for my name and my music. I played on stages with big SA/USA artists, such as Zonke, Ringo, Thandiswa Mazwai, Freshly Ground, Bebe and Cece Winans and others. I entered the SA Idols Season 8 national singing competition and was placed in the Top 9 for Girls.
Since then, I moved to Johannesburg (the hub of music in SA), signed with an independent recording label, and released my first CD in 2013.
It is now time for my first regional tour in South Africa to promote the release of my second album, "Eyodidi". This is where I need your help!
