Thalia Cornejo’s POST KIDNEY TRANSPLANT & RECOVERY

Hello my name is Thalia Cornejo and I am mother of two. My daughter Annalee is 9 and my son Santiago is 5. We live in Santa Rosa CA .I was diagnosed with microscopic polyangitiis, an autoimmune disease, eight years ago that severely affected my kidneys. I am doing this fundraiser because I am in stage 5 kidney failure and have been doing dialysis for 3 yrs. I am on the kidney transplant list waiting for a kidney transplant at UCSF San Francisco. Due to my kidney failure I have been unable to work and have been financially struggling. Paying for daily expenses has been getting harder and harder. I am unable to work due to the illness and my regular dialysis treatment. The dialysis treatment makes me feel nauseous and I experience a lot of muscle,joint  ache and fatigue. I also suffer from high blood pressure and loss of appetite,This fundraiser is important to me because I want to be able to support my two children. I am struggling to pay for monthly expenses such as rent, food, and utility bills other medical expenses. I love my children and struggling to support them has been really diffucult emotionally. My monthly expenses . This includes rent, food, utility bills and some dialysis supplies. The money fundraised here will be used to help me pay for these monthly expenses.
