Thali's non-boobery

Hello & for those who do not know me, I’m Thalia or Thali (no pronouns/it/they).

I’ve been aware of my identity one way or another since I was in kindergarten and what was always certain for me, is that I can’t tolerate that my body dictates my gender expression.

I have struggled with dysphoria regarding my chest for over 15 years and I made it my goal to restart my life before hitting the age of 30 last year.

However, life had other plans and I was unlucky enough to choose a surgeon who did not understand me and this resulted in something that is very far off my needs and what I made abundantly clear as my request.

What he had removed was the bare minimum, leaving me with exactly the same chest volume, merely re-shaped.

Needless to say, I can't trust the same person again and regardless, he didn't offer a free revision.

To be transparent with you, my request was a non-flat top surgery which would mean a tiny amount of tissue would remain. At the moment, due to the trauma of that experience and the added complications that a pre-existing surgery entails, I am considering other options such as flat top surgery without nipples, as this feels more gender-neutral to me.

What I’m sure of, is that I will not consider any surgeons who aren’t well experienced in trans surgeries and fully aware of different identities, regardless of what they can ‘’promise’’.

My current reality is that my family can’t and/or doesn’t want to support me for a second time either financially or otherwise. I am struggling more than ever mentally and emotionally, as the added hurdle of having “tried but failed” is a very complicated subject for me and my therapy sessions have ran out.

I don’t have a big network, so sharing this is super appreciated, if you can’t donate yourself.

Once I’m done with all this chaos and back to financial stability, I would more than happily give back in return.
