Thamer El-Husaini

“My name is Ferass El-Husaini, my brother Thamer El-Husaini passed away June 5th. I love my brother and I know he loved our family. The reality of this has been that… my family is broke in many ways right now. I know my brother needs me to take care of our family and this is just one of those ways. I’ve put together some memories to honor and show that in the end, my brother enjoyed his life and I am grateful for everyone who was apart of it. Thank you.”

This is something no family prepares for. It was a struggle to start this Go Fund Me, but talking to family, friends, parents, and anyone that's dealt with grief in any fashion have helped me come to this conclusion. There are many people genuinely trying to help my family and I but just don't know how. There are people who are no longer in the city who couldn't make it to the funeral, who wanted to be there to support but were just not able to. This all happened so fast and I know my brother loved and shared his heart with many and my job is to take care of his families he created. I will try my hardest to get to all the wounded hearts from this lost, but this is me taking care of what we both we're trying to take care of the whole time... our family. Thank you.
