Thang Hawm Lian Family Support Fund

Thang Hawm Lian was my nephew, he was shot and killed while fighting for democracy and freedom in Myanmar. He was only 25, leaving behind a wife, a one year old, and a baby on the way. He was the provider and caretaker of his mother that became disabled, and his father that has been unable to work due to a disability. His wife was working for the government, until both her and her husband joined the Civil Disobedience Movement(CDM), fighting for Myanmar's right to a democracy.  Because this she lost her job, and Thang became the main source of the family's income. Now that Thang has tragically passed away his family have no source of income and they are at risk of being killed themselves for their involvement with the CDM as freedom fighters.
