Thank God for sparing his life to tell his story

Hi, my name is Vincent M. Miller, and I am fundraising for one of our members of the program Filling The Lane. Filling The Lane's mission is to enrich youths’ holistic educational experience by creating a structured and nurturing support system that fosters personal and academic development, community involvement, leadership, the arts, and appropriate decision-making.

Letter From Parents:

I'm sure you hear this every day in, which I have... But it was a reality on Aug 7th, 2022, at 12:16 am. My 16-year-old son called me and stated that he was in a car accident (he's the passenger)and in his way to Osceola Regional Trauma Hospital. My son suffered a broken right pelvis, hip cup, broken right femur, and nine fractures to the right hand. I couldn't believe my child was going through all of this. The next day, he underwent surgeries back to back for one week, a total of 7 surgeries. Three units of blood, two weeks stay in the hospital and then transferred to Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital in Jacksonville for one week and two days and then moved home for his new journey to begin. This young man has endured a lot being homeschooled now, therapy sessions. Having new hardware pins, plates, and rods in his body. Wondering if he'll play basketball again. He's 6'3. Wondering how his life is going to be. But he is strong and has support because prayers don't go unanswered. My son is so loved, and people will see that he was robbed of unforeseen circumstances. The accident that he was involved in being a passenger, the driver was unfortunately found at fault had minimal Insurance coverage for the passenger….Medical/therapy/ and prescription bills are just astronomical and they just keep coming in one was over $174,000 and that's just ONE which brought us to this option. Whatever can be donated to offset some of the medical and therapy bills so he can get back to some normality which will be a far way down the road but due to his age there is HOPE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
