Thank Kevin Bell Trust for bringing our dad home
Anyone who knew my dad knew his three loves: His Kids, Music and Football. So when his son, Ryan, invited him to Manchester to see Machester United play his favourite team, Everton, he was delighted. Unfortunately, he didn't get to see the match as he suffered a heart attack at the stadium just after the match began.
We lost our best friend and very special dad that day. I have never felt as much pain as I felt that first day. That pain continued for the following 6 weeks after that, and what felt like an eternity to get our dad home. As he passed away in the UK, things can take longer over there when releasing a body. Not only that, we had to organise getting him home to Dublin and we knew that wasn't going to be straightforward.
Until someone told us about THE KEVIN BELL REPATRIATION TRUST
The Kevin Bell repatriation trust was established in 2013, when the Bell family were faced with organising the repatriation of their own son Kevin, following his sudden death in America. In the wake of this, the Bell family set up this trust in Kevin’s honour. After experiencing their own loss, they in turn decided to help others in similar situations.
Thanks to them we were able to celebrate his life with all his family and friends in Dublin. I will be forever grateful to them for bringing our dad home.
I would really appreciate you donating whatever you can. Any funds donated will be sent straight to the charity through this charity fundraiser.
Thank you so much in advance.
