Nick Parcell is truly the cream of the crop. Always there for everyone and ready to do anything to help others! Well this time, he could really use your help.
He is fighting for his life. Both mentally and physically.
Currently he has been admitted to the hospital and is on suicide protocol and getting treatment and trying to get his pain under control from a very recent diagnosis of an aggressive form of MS.

For a couple of years Nick has struggled with his back issues. He had 2 surgeries and was trying to hold off before doing a fusion. He put it off to help his wife Jennifer with some issues she had going on as well.

Last March Jennifer underwent surgery to remove several malignant tumors and her ovaries. In June she had to have heart surgery to handle AFib , an enlarged heart and fluid around the pericardium. She had to quit her job as a mail carrier since she was unable to perform the duties after her recovery.

In September Nick and Jennifer moved to St George. They were so excited for a fresh start. They sold everything and couldn’t wait to begin life fresh and new!

While moving someone had stolen their identity and they lost everything! And are still dealing with the fraud attacks.

The first of January Nick finally broke down and made an appt with his Dr and was going to do the fusion he so desperately tried to avoid.

His orthopedic surgeon acknowledged his back issues but with alarm he was aware that there was something neurological going on. Even mentioned possible ALS.

Brain scans. Spinal taps. More MRIs of the brain and spine.Blood work! All part of his daily life now.

Relapsing remitting MS. An Aggressive form with treatment this is going to be just as aggressive!

In the meantime he has escalated rapidly. Nick has been in extreme pain and discomfort. He requires the use of a walker for when he is up and able to move. His body has been hijacked.

Adding to the stress, Jen was admitted last week briefly for additional heart issues and treatment.

In Early January while at his appt, doctors put Nick on a no work order. His company began the process of getting him on short term disability.

Last Saturday everything had blown up with his health , his pain was out of control and Nick was not in a good place mentally. This is when he left everything and vanished. He was added to the missing and endangered persons database. 13 1/2 hours later the police found him.

He made his way home eventually and we were so grateful for his safe return.
Knowing that he wasn’t ok in any way, we tried to allow him some time to heal and give him the space he deserves. While still being there to help him with love and compassion and all his medical needs.

As medical bills rise and treatments and medications that could run over $150,000 Come at us, Nick reeled with the finances. Yesterday Nick received information that his short term disability had been denied due to missing information. (Their mistake) all paperwork was submitted promptly by Nick with proof.

This morning Nick found out that since they denied his short term, they stopped his paycheck. And did not get paid !

This was Nicks breaking point. Life and his pain have gotten to be too much. He does not want to live like this!

Nick was taken to the hospital where he has been admitted and they are caring for all his needs. He is in isolation with a sitter and all family including Jen were informed to leave for safety reasons and policy.

The cost of Treatments and living expenses have deprived Nick of any peace. A peace he doesn’t just need, he deserves it!

The family is grateful for all the prayers, and kind words texts messages and phone calls.

As you can appreciate this is an extremely difficult time for them and they really could use some help.
If there was a little less financial stress, this would considerably help nicks healing and lessen some of the stress and anxiety that him and his family are going through.

Thank you for all the support! You have been so gracious and kind and as a family we are so grateful.
