Thank You, Jerry!

As you know, Jerry Hastings is retiring shortly and at his retirement party a beautiful plaque will be presented to him for his wonderful service to our school, faculty, students, staff and the Worcester community.

Jerry has been a key player in presenting an image of professionalism and kindness to the school and the community. I truly believe that there is no one of importance in Worcester – including the Mayor - who doesn’t know Jerry.

In addition to the plaque, I have suggested to the Dean that we present Jerry with a gift as well, and I propose that we get him the “Gold Watch”, or at least a fine watch with a meaningful engraving on the back from us.

I volunteered to take up a collection for Jerry’s present from the faculty, staff, and hopefully a bit from the students so that they can also express their gratitude to Jerry. I’m suggesting $25 - $50 per person from the faculty and whatever staff and student wish to give, so that we can purchase a fine quality watch at a reasonable price point.

Please contribute something so that Jerry will know our deep appreciation for his service to us and the community.
