Thanking Mrs. Kathy Park for 48 years of service

Hello - The original organizer of this fundraiser has handed the administration off to me after generously getting things going. While it’s been a difficult time for my mom after being let go from the school as she navigates these as of yet undiagnosed medical issues, it’s been incredibly heartwarming to see the outpouring of support from friends, family, and alumni. It can difficult for her to ask for and accept help but I know she is incredibly grateful for everything you all have done, as is our entire family. She misses the classroom and students terribly and is anxious to get back to her old self. Hopefully she’ll continue to make progress and have some good news soon!

Dear Friends, CHBC Parents, and Alumni,

This Thanksgiving Tuesday, let's come together to express our gratitude and immense support for Mrs. Kathy Park, who devoted 48 years to teaching our kids and some of us at CHBC Montessori School.

Sadly, Mrs. Park couldn't return to teaching at CHBC this year after summer due to an undiagnosed medical condition, leading to her job loss and piling medical bills not fully covered by medical insurance she has through her spouse’s medical insurance. Her health is fragile, and she's facing additional living expenses without her income.

Let's unite as a community to help Mrs. Park and her family during these challenging times. I'm asking for your support to raise $25,000 before the end of December 2023 to assist Mrs. Park in covering medical and short term living expenses.
