Thanksgiving Dinner Drive About

So for the last several years our family Thanksgiving tradition created by Emily years ago questioning why we sit at a table on Thanksgiving and stuff our faces with food while there are people out in the cold with nothing to eat. Her desire to help those less fortunate created our now yearly tradition the

"Graybeal Family Thanksgiving Drive About"

On Thanksgiving we make a giant dinner like we would normally for our family (and over the years has become much larger = feeding 50+ people each year)

Instead of sitting around a table all together gorging on a meal and basking in the blessing that we have, we box up as many "to go boxes" of Thanksgiving dinners as we can and we are going to spend our evening driving around town and finding those who don't have family, a table to sit around, a warm home, a Thanksgiving feast and we give them a dinner, some company and warmth! Man the experiences we have had and the beautiful people we meet!

So Thanksgiving night that Is on our agenda again this year that being said, I want to share this because I want to see if anybody would like to contribute to our "Graybeal Family Thanksgiving dinner delivery drive about"

If anyone wants to donate, and be a part of this,

Donations would go to help fund what started as just a few dinners, in place of our own family's meal to now 50+meals to hand out. We understand that there are shelters and opportunities to go get the meals, but our goal is to go find those people that are hidden in doorways to stay warm, who maybe are intoxicated and wouldn't be permitted into the shelter, those who can't get there for whatever reason still get to have that Thanksgiving meal and still get to have shown to them love and compassion.

Donations would go to help purchase food, all of the to-go boxes, napkins, beverages, utensils and any surplus would go to be buying warm winter gear like gloves and hats and scarves to be handed out with the meals.
