"That's Gonna Leave a Mark" - CU Denver Web Series

This is the fundraiser for our 2024 CU Denver Junior Web Series Comedy,That's Gonna Leave A Mark.

Logline: When visiting his parents to try and get back on his feet, a recently fired and overly competitive salesman attempts to join his sister’s basketball team before they face off against their rivals.

That's Gonna Leave a Mark follows Mark Buffalo, an off-course 30 year old who is reunited with his own basketball rival after Mark drops his little sister, Penny, off at her intermediate basketball club. In his attempt to show off his basketball skills to his rival, Mark accidentally slams a basketball against the face of Penny's teammate. Mark must step in for the injured teammate while attempting to gain the admiration from Penny's Coach, Nina, and the rest of the Pink Panther basketball team before they face off against their rivals, Cody's Cobras.

A Note from Show Runners Katie Ray & Lily Boles:

Our concept for this show was created when we realized our love for sitcoms, and how the art of sitcoms in the modern day has been lost. Audiences miss lighthearted shows that make them laugh, root for love, and are relatable. In a world where many are recovering from their own challenges, we believe That's Gonna Leave a Mark provides a small escape into our small silly scenario: a grown man in a head-to-toe pink uniform attempting to play in a basketball club amongst 16 year olds.

In order to make our mark with this Web Series, we need the funding to make it so. All money raised will go towards filming locations, food costs, production design materials, festivals, and much more!

Donors of $50 or more will receive a special "Thank You" in the credits of each episode.

Donors of $150 or more will receive a signed script of the Pilot episode from the cast & crew, in addition to a special "Thank You" in the credits of each episode.

Donors of $200 or more will receive credit as "Executive Producer", a signed script of the Pilot episode, and a special "Thank You" in the credits of each episode.

We will also be releasing an inside look on the production process with behind the scenes photos and updates from set!
