The 32423 Lego Legends Head for Nationals to Houston
Donation protected
Our team, The Lego Legends 32423, became the 2025 Maine State Champions at the FIRST Lego League Competition at Mt. Blue High School in Farmington, Maine, on February 1st. There were over 30 teams that we competed against from across the state. All of these teams came together to showcase their research skills, design, and programming while developing leadership and technical abilities in a fun, creative environment.
The 32423 Lego Legends team is made up of 8 talented 3rd to 7th grade kids from Bangor and Brewer. This outstanding achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and teamwork of every team member. As the coaches, we are incredibly proud of this team and their accomplishment!
With this victory comes an even greater desire to achieve more and strive for excellence. With that being said, our team has earned an invitation to the Championship in Houston, Texas. This event will be taking place from April 16-19, 2025. Our team is excited and determined to continue pushing boundaries and making their mark on the national stage.
As we prepare for this incredible opportunity, we are seeking support to help cover team registration and travel costs. If funds exceed our needs, they will be used wisely for transportation of the team and the robotic tools and equipment, accommodations in Houston, and food.
Any donations, advice on potential sponsorships, or fundraising initiatives would be greatly appreciated to help us get to Houston to represent our communities and the state of Maine with pride!
Team Registration for Event = $2000
Airfare (Boston to Houston Return) = $382/head
Extra fee for luggage (Return) = $125 for luggage

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous support! Every donation makes a difference and can see smile on everyone’s face.
During winter break, our team has been hard at work practicing and applying what we learned from the State Championship. The kids have made great improvements in coding to make the robot more successful, with senior members visiting and teaching new logic for programming techniques.
As we prepare for the Houston Championship, we are looking for hats, caps, or accessories that represent the State of Maine — something that will help us showcase our pride on the big stage.
If you have suggestions or would like to help, please leave a comment.
We will keep everyone updated on our exciting journey to the FIRST Robotics Nationals Championship in Houston! Your support and encouragement inspire us every step of the way. Thank you for being part of our adventure.
Senior from MSSM visited classrooom to share his experience and teach new way of logic to make Robot move in straight line without drifting.
