Thank you Acorn Gallery and Art School!
A Celebration of 30 years in the Making!
For those who don't know, there is a small art school and gallery in Marblehead, MA that has been in operation for close to 30 years. It has been a local haven for thousands of students across the North Shore of Massachusetts, offering world class oil painting and figure drawing classes.
The founders and owners, Jack and Deb, are local legends and heroes. They have helped countless students to gain confidence, find their inner voice, and explore their creativity. They serve as not only teachers but mentors to the community, having provided free classes to children whose families could not afford the cost, and opened their homes to students in need of a place to stay. To date, they have helped their students receive well over 10 million dollars in college scholarships. On top of all of their hard work and dedication, Deb is battling Lupus disease.
All the proceeds will go directly to the Acorn Gallery to help support their efforts in continuing to nurture artistic talent for years to come.
Please support them so they can continue their important work. Every amount makes a difference and we appreciate your help.
Let's PARTY! - Please join us for a special Celebration of Deb and Jack, Sunday, June 2nd, 5-8pm, at the Gerry 5, 210 Beacon St. Marblehead. Tickets are $20. Children 12 and under FREE
It will be a multi-generational event for sure! Live music will be provided by "The Old Men of Marblehead". There will be works of art for sale from various artists (including Deb and Jack!), a silent auction, prizes, acknowledgements, fond memories, laughter, and a few surprises.
We look forward to seeing you there!
