The "All Youth Can Eat" Campaign 2025
Donation protected
For the last 3 summers, the "All Youth Can Eat" Campaign has helped to feed thousands of youth and college students experiencing food insecurity during the summer months when hunger is at its highest.
Functioning primarily within the cities of Tacoma & Seattle, the campaign fed over 3,000 youth last summer, making it the largest restaurant-led feeding program in the northwest.
Currently 1 in 6 children are experiencing hunger in Washington State while 47 million Americans struggle with hunger everyday. These numbers are even worse in the Midwest looking at Illinois and Ohio, where 1 out of every 5 kids struggle with hunger. College Students are also greatly affected by hunger with similar rates of food insecurity. Needless to say hunger just doesn't end when you turn 18.
This year, I am looking to raise $15,000 to solidify the "All-Youth-Can-Eat" Campaign as a 501c3 and to extend the program from the Northwest to the Midwest, helping to feed those in need not only in Tacoma & Seattle but also in Chicago & Toledo Ohio.
This is an effort to address the crisis of hunger, and to change our culture from a culture of eating to a culture of feeding.
WHAT IS THE "ALL YOUTH CAN EAT CAMPAIGN"?
THE ALL YOUTH CAN EAT CAMPAIGN IS A SUMMER YOUTH FEEDING CAMPAIGN ORGANIZED BY KWABI AMOAH-FORSON AND PARTNERING RESTAURANTS. THE CAMPAIGN HAS WORKED TO HELP FEED OVER 6,000 KIDS & COLLEGE STUDENTS DURING THE SUMMER SEASON AND IS DESIGNED TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF HUNGER WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
The "All-Youth-Can-Eat" Campaign will take place within various cities in the Northwest & Midwest between July 1st and September 1st 2025.
Each restaurant involved in the campaign picks a day out of the week as well as a specific time frame on that day, where they will give a free meal to any youth who comes to the restaurant asking to participate in the program. Typically the restaurant picks low cost items from their menu to create a special "All Youth Can Eat" Menu so that the young person participating in the program can pick from a variety of foods.
Each participating restaurant can decide if they'd like to serve only kids 18 and under, or serve college students 24 and under (with student ID) or serve both.
If you are a restaurant owner or manager and interested in participating in this summers program please reach out to [email redacted].
All Donations will go towards campaign costs including: Business Expenses, Campaign Promotional Materials, Advertising, & Restaurant Support.
Thank you so much for your support. Undoubtedly “Hunger can’t win, when we all pitch in”
