The amazing Clara is coming home!!

There are no words to express how grateful we are for your support through this fundraiser. We continue to appreciate your prayers, time spent with Clara in the hospital and all the check ins over the last 8 months. We could not have been there for Clara in the way we have been without all of you.

We wanted you all to know where the money raised will be used. We plan to use it for a chair lift and towards a wheelchair minivan. This means that we can take Clara for rides - her favorite thing to do!

Your generosity and never ending support has been so appreciated.

In December 2022, Clara suffered an anoxic brain injury as the result of non fatal drowning and cardiac arrest. She has made incredible progress in her recovery but has a long road ahead of her.

After 7 months of intensive medical care and subsequent rehabilitation, she is scheduled to come home with her unbelievably dedicated and loving family! In order for Clara to be cared for in the most effective and safe manner, Tighe and Lori will need to make many changes to their home and transportation for her. Everything must now be handicap accessible, which entails significant home renovations as well as a wheelchair van. In addition to renovations, medical equipment will need to be purchased.

Of course, insurance will cover SOME medical equipment but they will need more. It was not easy for Tighe and Lori to accept the idea of financial support from those who love them. We are so grateful they have humbly allowed us to use this platform to show our love and support.

Thank you to everyone who continues to pray for Clara. That’s the best gift of all.
