The Amelia Brown Awareness Campaign
Donation protected
On December 3, 2019 Amelia Brown was in the car with her mother when she was struck in the head with a gun shot wound.
Amelia Brown is a happy 5 year old girl. Her favorite movie is Frozen. She loves role playing and playing with her dolls. Her favorite activity with her mother is manicures and pedicures. Before this happened, Amelia loved to jump, run, play, and practice ballet.
Amelia has made much progress with the support from her loved ones and immediate family, however she still has a long way to go. On Dec 3, after suffering a gun shot wound from an unknown assailant, Amelia was air lifted to Vidant Hospital in Greenville, NC. She was placed on life support. After 3 weeks a miracle happened- Amelia woke up. Thus far, she is in rehabilitation and making strides to walk again. Amelia Brown came home from the hospital after 8 weeks and with the love and support from family she is recovering. However, her family still has on going medical expenses for her care.
We are asking you to answer this call to action to support the urgent care of Amelia Brown. The family has mounting medical expenses, a complete life change, household and work adjustments, and Amelia needs your support. Your donation will directly support this family with the on-going/new medical expenses associated with this violent crime- transportation, rehabilitation expenses, and Amelias living expenses, the household adjustments for her comfort, the fight to find her shooter, and the drive she needs.
There is a $1,000.00 reward for the capture of this assailant. If you have any information please contact law enforcement immediately.
