Preparing Today to be the Guardians of Tomorrow!
The Angelo State Student Law Enforcement Club (LEC) is dedicated to forming a community of future servants in the law enforcement career field and preparing them to launch into employment immediately upon graduation. We achieve this through hands-on trainings (such as handcuffing techniques), guest speakers from a variety of agencies, promoting a high standard of both academic and physical fitness, teaching soft skills such as networking techniques, and fostering a tight-knit community among students.
Our mission extends beyond training future police officers, troopers, and deputies. We also support students interested in auxiliary fields, particularly those pursuing forensics-related careers. As we approach our one-year anniversary as an official Registered Student Organization, we aim to expand our activities and strengthen our relationship with the San Angelo community.
We are raising funds to:
- Purchase essential training equipment, including duty belts, training handcuffs, and uniforms
- Host more workshops and seminars with law enforcement professionals
- Create promotional materials to increase our outreach
- Organize community service events and more!
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your support will help us continue to prepare today to be the guardians of tomorrow. Thank you for your support!
